Back to back blogs. Good start so far!
Just got back from a holiday to Victor Harbor. A small town just about an hour away from Adelaide. No idea how many people live there.. but is a pretty decent size.
Nice spot, but unfortunately not real nice beach there.
Anyway, Kate and I stayed in the Bluff View apartments on the Bluff. Seems so far away fromt everything there. The whole idea of our holiday was to relax and get away from everything, so it's the perfect spot.
The holiday all came about because my mate was meant to be getting married in Victor, so we booked a room early. Then the wedding fell through, but we kept our reservation.
To be honest, I'd been looking forward to the holiday for quite some time. For some reason I hadn't been looking forward to going to work and everything had just seemed a bit tedious. A holiday is really what I needed.
I feel so tired now, but after I wake up tomorrow I know I'll feel refreshed and things will seem back to normal.
And then I'm backto the same hotel over the Christmas break with Kate's family. Looking forward to that too!
Going to sleep now. Then in the morning I'll feel great again!

Introducing... troynffc!
Hi!
I dunno who is reading this, but hi anyway. I don't even know why you're reading it, or why I'm even writing it.
Guess it's just a good way of writing stuff down, I can look back on later.
Firstly, I thought I'd start of by writing a little bit about me. My name's Troy and I support Nottingham Forest, hence troynffc.
I love soccer and have done since I was 12. I remember buying Shoot Magazine for $2.50 to get updates on English soccer. And there was a one hour highlight show on the ABC.
This was way before Fox started showing 8 games a weekend, and way before Australia had the A-League.
I also like heavy metal. It's by far my favourite style of music. I like punk and rock too. And maybe a little hiphop if I feel in the mood. But metal is where I feel most comfortable. It's such a huge genre of music. Something there that can fill the mood at any time. There's the extremely slow and often depressing Doom metal (see Virgin Black for a great Adelaide doom metal band), then there's the ultra-heavy and ultra-violent death metal. I love it all.
I've also found an interest lately in boxing, mma and other fight sports. They can be so brutal, yet so brilliant as well. Is there a better test of a mans character than putting him in a ring with another man who wants to knock him out?
When I was about 10 I did Judo. Watching the UFC makes me wish I had continued. I was never any good though, so probably saved myself years of embarressment.
I live in a city called Adelaide. It's in the south of Australia and I love it here. It gets hot, which I don't like much, but is the right size for me. About 1 million people live here. We have a sporting team in all the major competitions and are generally pretty good. Suits me fine because I love watching sport. Even met my beautiful girlfriend, Kate, at a game of soccer.
I think that's enough of an introduction for now. I'll write a new blog petty soon though!
